Torque Reels Overview Standard industrial-duty Aero-Motive® torque reels are designed with sheet metal housings for extra durability and added impact resistance. These torque reels build tension up to a maximum of a 15 lb load and maximum cable extension length of 15', with full retractability. A ratchet-lock mechanism locks the torque reel in place at a desired height for unrestricted tool movements while a slight pull on the cable will release the lock and allow full retraction to original position. The ratchet lock can be activated or completely disengaged with the manual "ON/OFF" knob.
